Cricklewood SNT – Community Update |
||
|
Dear Resident,
Here are the Cricklewood SNT's updates since our last communication.
This week, PC David Kett, supported by officers from Childs Hill SNT, Garden Suburb SNT & Traffic Teams, led a targeted operation in Cricklewood Broadway and Cricklewood Lane to address the illegal use of e‑bikes and e‑scooters following concerns raised by local residents.
As a result of the operation: - 3 e‑scooters seized for illegal use - 7 e‑bikes seized - 2 mopeds seized for no insurance
These actions help improve safety on our roads and reduce anti‑social behaviour linked to illegal riding.
Ongoing Work in Cricklewood: Over the past three months, Cricklewood SNT officers have continued to:
- Carry out daily patrols across the ward and hotspot areas - Engage with young people involved in ASB in local parks - Work closely with local councillors and the Barnet CST team to: - Develop education and diversion plans for young people during the summer holidays - Improve the social environment in parks and hotspot areas - Reduce ASB through early intervention and visibility - Organise social events, school visits and youth‑focused activities to support early intervention and positive engagement
We also continue to conduct stop and searches, challenge unacceptable behaviour, issue ASB warnings and respond to your enquiries as best as we can.
How You Can Help:
If there is anything happening in your local area that you feel we should be aware of, please let us know at any time. Your information helps us prioritise patrols and take action where it’s needed most. Additionally, any crime can be reported through our website: Report a crime | Metropolitan Police
More updates will follow as we plan our next action days.
